Maybe some part of me understood before the rest of me did that I needed to stop treating what was happening as a marital argument and start remembering exactly what he was doing.<\/p>\n

That evening, I learned that the household account I had used for groceries, utilities, preschool tuition, and nearly every ordinary expense had been restricted.<\/p>\n
